On July 13^th, 2023, the Auggie Navarro Scholarship Foundation hosted an auction event held at Wichita CC.  

The following players participated:  

Sam Stevens – Joined the PGA in 2018 with earnings just under $2MM.  Ranked 114 in the world PGA standings, 2 top 10 finishes in 2023, & 2^nd place in the Valero Texas Open.

Katherine Kirk – Joined the LPGA in 2003 with earnings near $6MM.

Asher Whitaker – Senior at Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School.  Winner of the Kansas Amateur at the age of 17.  He is the youngest to win this event in 97 years.

Hanna Hawks – High school at Trinity.  In 2018 her record shows: 4A Kansas State Champ, 2^nd place in 2019 Oklahoma Jr Golf Tour Championship.  In 2020, she was the Number 1 ranked player of 2020 graduating class from KU.  Lastly, Two Time Kansas Girls Jr. Amateur Champion.

Chadd Brown – High school at Augusta, KS.  As a senior, he finished 2^nd at the 4A State Championship.  Last year, he was a recipient of a $10,000 Auggie Navarro College Scholarship.  He is now attending Hastings, Nebraska.

Funds raised from this event was just under $5K & combined with the proceeds raised from the Auggie Navarro Pro-Am Invitational.
